There comes a point when you work on a track so much that you are sick of it and you totally lose track of the melody that made it so beautiful in the first place. I just want to remind you of how great of a piece this is. It doesn't matter that this is a 4.0/5.0 or that you only have 16 downloads. Years from now this track will still shine in my music library and if you aren't famous by then....well....then god dammit I don't who will be because you fucking have it.

Obviously fantastic...

I like pop. Even gay-ass top 40 pop. I like almost ALL music from just about every genre.

But I don't like the original "Like a G6" song. Your remix absolutely takes a dump on the original song and looks sexy doing it.

The vst that kicks at 2:08 and is also at the beginning of the song (the pluck melody from the original song) could use a little more depth. Use a different vst or try some chorus or reverb to fatten up the sound because it sounds kind of old school - a little too simple. Dont get me wrong it still sounds good but we are talking improvement here.

I appreciate your opinions on the song! Especially since you expressed them so well. However, that pluck sound is a muted electric guitar, so there's really not a whole lot of depth. And its supposed to sound a little old school. Or a little minimal at least. I tried to give the song an old-school hip-hop feel in those breaks. Dunno if I succeeded or not, but I tried XD

I have come to the conclusion that it is impossible to get the sound of a real piano out of anything. Period. It doesnt matter what vst you have, what mic's or how many, etc etc speakers, amp's, DAC's etc etc, it will never ever ever come close to a real grand piano.

Well yeah, any set of speakers ever is missing the fundamental acoustics for a grand piano sound. Just like how a drum set will never sound the same when recorded as it does in the room, no matter how good your drum mics are. That's simply the reality of working with electronic sound waves vs. acoustic.

This song is nothing short of epic, but I think that if you made the bassline one octave deeper this would be epic. The synth that kicks in a 0:32 is a little bright/harsh as well, tone it back, make it smoother, and this song would be 100%.
