Yo if this song had good strings it would be beast as fuck.

Get yourself some spectrosonics omnisphere and pump out some adagio strings.

Well, the point of the song was to not use the standard orchestral strings. The strings in the song are all Persian except for the middle part which is a Chinese string instrument. Hence the sound.

The mic is an Oktava MK-319 modded by OktavaMod.com, running through an Edirol UA-4FX USB interface + pre, finally into a Macbook Pro. :-)
